The Solar Roller ® Pool Cover Remover rolls odd-shaped pools in sections like pieces of a puzzle on POOLS THAT CANNOT USE A DECK REEL. As you know, pool covers can save your customers on their water bills and over the life of the cover easily pay for themselves in reduced water bills because a pool cover helps prevent pool water evaporation, plus the cover heats the pool. 

By enabling the 70% of pools that cannot use a deck reel (freeform pools) to roll/remove a pool cover we're allowing everyone to enjoy a warm pool and help the environment through water conservation. These freeform pools otherwise do not have a cover handling solution.  To put this in perspective, just 200 pools using covers can conserve up to 3.5 million gallons of water every year. Nationwide covers can save over 100 billion gallons of water every year.

The modular pool cover idea has recently been taking off as other products have emerged on the market like Sun Rings, and now Magna-Clear hex rings.  But David Hoff, inventor of the Solar Roller was the first back in 1989 to innovate the Patented Split-Cover System and is the originator or the modular approach. 

One day we envision that pool shops will be stocking half covers rather than full size covers because only HALF COVERS employed by the Split-Cover System can accommodate almost ALL POOL SHAPES in JUST 4 SIZES (14x14, 16x16, 18x18, 20x20) rather than the multitude of sizes stores currently have to deal with. Having a better stocking solution means stores will never be out of stock and your customers can get what they want, when they want it. Half covers sizes are more compact to stock, and more compact to ship unlike 50+ sizes of full covers. And wholesalers will not have to worry about being stuck with sizes that are slow to sell.

Most people don't realize that in many areas pools can loose 10,000-25,000 gallons per year due to evaporation. Water districts offer all kinds of water saving rebates, and in the past have even recommended things like putting a brick into your toilet's holding tank (insignificant to the savings a pool cover can provide). So this is really an issue when you realize that if a city water tank typically holds 3.5 million gallons, then less than 200 pools without covers will use an entire tank of valuable drinking water per year.  With so many areas experiencing water shortages tell your Water Districts to add pool covers to their Rebate Programs to save valuable city drinking water, and help increase your cover sales!

You can have stock-on-hand, or special order and receive product in just 1-5 days depending on your location. Rollers are easy to stock with a single item box dimension of 42x5x3 inches at 8 lbs/ea.  It was designed to be compact.
